There are heard speculations about Microsoft that they will be working on their own brand tablet that runs Windows 8. This rumour actually came from Taipei with sources who claims that Texas Instrument Chips will be used and this own brand tablet device will be launched by the end of 2012. However, the first published speculation about this came from Digitimes with their sources claiming that Microsoft is still looking forward on working with their own brand tablet as what they did with Xbox.

It will not be a big surprise knowing that Dell and Samsung are the manufacturers of this new device. Although Microsoft is getting trendy with the manufacturer of Android tablet, Dell and Samsung have a close relationship with them.

What Does the Tablet Looks Like?

While Dell has already made some tablets with unusual shapes, Samsung on the other hand, has made their tablets similar in shape and size with that of Apple iPad except that Apple iPad is much thinner. But then, Samsung includes a slick keyboard that slides out from the bottom to make it easier for users to type unlike Apple iPad which lacks this kind of feature. 

Will it be designed for Business purposes?

Microsoft believes that if the new device will be designed for business use, it will create a huge impact on the market industry. Since a lot of people would prefer convenience, they would want to work while doing other things or do multi tasking to save time and this new device that Microsoft is going to launch will be a great help for them.

Will It Have Applications on Application Stores?

Applications play a big role in Windows 8, as convinced by Microsoft that application development will move to the web and with manufacturer specific entrances that will build a windows store.

Windows 8 tablets are expected to have the same qualifications to other iPad competitors such as the Galaxy tab or Blackberry Playbook basically netbooks in different form factor such as gigahertz processor, gigabyte of RAM, 802.11b/g/n wireless and displays that are multitouch. You will also be expecting a lot of connectivity such as USB ports.

Are Prices offered being the same as Android Tablets?

Windows 8 tablets will be sold with affordable prices than iPads, Android tablets and Chrome OS netbooks. If they will not be sold in the market up against these devices, it will be a tough sell for the new device.
